Last week, OPL and commercial laundry equipment distributor, Western State Design (WSD) participated as a sponsor of the Bhartiya Mandal Foundation’s (BMF) 2nd Annual Golf Tournament at Stone Tree Golf Club in Novato, CA. The purpose of this annual tournament is to raise money to support various local community causes. This year’s cause was to fund the creation of “Because We Care Kits” consisting of necessities, including non-perishable food, water, toiletries, socks, gloves, hats, among other practical items, for people in need, such as the homeless. The kits will be assembled by local BMF community youth volunteers participating in an upcoming community service event, who will also write notes of support to include in every kit.
WSD is proud to support the BMF, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting awareness of Gujarati Indian culture and giving back to the local San Francisco Bay Area community. BMF coordinates community clean up activities, donation drives, and charitable events to support those less fortunate.
